Sharni Vinson is an Australian-American actress, dancer, born on 22 July 1983. She was born in Sydney Australia. In 2001, Sharni Vinson was part of two episodes on the Australian Soap Opera Home and Away. Her performance in the limited part was so captivating that the agent who cast the show requested to cast her in the major role in the series. The actress auditioned but did not receive the job. The same show Cassie Turner got the role in the role of an unruly teenage girl who was placed living in foster care. She was praised by both the public and critics for her portrayal.
